I am a Multidisciplinary Creative based in Southern Vermont with a love for design. For more than a decade I have been building brand identities and helping businesses advance towards their goals with effective print and user-friendly responsive websites. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Colby-Sawyer College, NH, I have worked a number of years as a Graphic Designer & Front End Web Developer in Southeastern New Hampshire. This experience has given me to the opportunity to work with many talented professionals and acquire a diverse skill set for use in multiple areas of my field.
Brand Identity
15 years creating custom logos, visual elements, packaging, social media graphics and style guides.
Graphic Design
16 years designing effective promotional material including print, web, vehicle graphics and signage.
Web Development
9 years building websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, WordPress and Joomla.
Experience
My area of expertise is in print design, but I also have solid understanding of web, and have produced work for 120+ small businesses and startups locally and internationally. Having worked a number of years at a press, I have an in-depth understanding of the print process, best color practices and preparing files for press. I also have extensive experience with software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Quark and Publisher in a Mac and PC environment. In web, I am self taught in HTML5, CSS3, Wordpress, basic server-side scripting such as PHP and implementing jQuery/JavaScript. I'm constantly keeping up the ever changing web practices, programming languages and design trends.
